This got me thinking about Claudia Sola's piece Being There, 2007
Which I saw in the From Here On show at Les Recontres d'Arles, 2011

It's a real shame not to be able to see the whole piece, and I kind of feel you miss the point because of this - this is work that will shake you to the core whether its on a laptop screen or projected on a big screen, with deafening surround sound. Seeing this piece transform (in front of) me, from a  kind of digital white-noise imagery to something so profoundly moving and spiritual that I felt it bordered on violation.

(this was definitely a high point of the festival, along with the film screened next door, Girls / Room / Dance by Cum* Collective - can't find this online)
